GD: How was the CIF matches? Was it your first? ON: This was the first CIF match for me, and was challenging but also very fun at hte same time. We were very proud of ourselves but we couldn't celebrate just yet since we would now have to play against schools that we never even heard of. This was especially nerve wracking because none of us knew what to expect. GD: Was CIF any different from normal games? If so, how? ON: The schools we played were very far and it is just different from normal games because we go in there not knowing how they will perform. CIF games are also challenging because you only have one shot to beat the team instead of the usual two times we play a school. GD: What were the highlights of the CIF experience? ON: The highlight of the CIF experience was doing so well this year and getting to experience this with each other. We have practiced with each other since summer and finally we got to see all the hard work pay off. Our usual highlights are the bus rides since we are always talking with each other, no matter how far away we sit from each other. GD: Did you guys celebrate after? ON: After the game, we went to Souplantation, which is the team's third time going to there. GD: Are there any rituals before or after a game? (Like a cheer, or going out to eat or something) ON: Before going to a game, we do our usual "P-A-P-A-T-P-A-R-I-O-T" cheer GD: Have you looked up to anyone during the season? ON: I look up to the seniors so much because they such a good game and they are great motivators. GD: Did you improve at all throughout the season, if so, how? ON: Before, my goal was just to get ball over the net, but now I think of my positioning. GD: What would you do to prepare for next year? ON: I will practice with my team members. |
