No, not those finals next week... Boys baseball has advanced to the CIF finals for the first time in Oxford history! Come be part of the story.

Need a ride? Ride the free rooter buses.

The Oxford Academy boys baseball team, under the leadership of coach Dana Bedard, will be playing in the CIF final game on this Friday, June 5, 2009 @ 4:15 against Rosamond. Oxford's team has never made it past the quarterfinals, but an unprecedented run has them competing at Blair Field at CSU Long Beach for the title. Oxford's team is now 12-0 on the road.

Our Team In the News:

Although this game is away from campus, you can still be part of history. Students are strongly encouraged to attend this game to support our baseball team.

There's two ways you can be part of this action.

1) If you have a ride, show up to Blair Field at 4:15. The address is:

Blair Field @ CSULB
4700 Deukmejian Dr.
Long Beach, CA.

2) If you need a ride, you can sign up to ride the two Rooter Buses to the event. The price of transportation has been covered and sponsored by Oxford Academy GameDay. Pick up a permission slip in the main office if you still need one and be one of the first 100 to turn them in (to the main office) in order to ride. The transportation will include a ride back to Oxford.

**Please note that students who are attending the Oxford choir show will have ample time to arrive at Cook Auditorium.

Ticket prices are $5 for students with student ID and $8 for general admission.
