The Oxford Academy Patriot baseball team had an impressive team win today versus conference rival Brethren Christian ending the game at a score of 5-0. 

Sophomore Steve Criss was the starting pitcher in todays game and threw 4 2/3 innings tallying 10 strikeouts.

Patrick Zajac completed the shutout on the mound for the Patriots. Both Patriot pitchers allowed only two hits on the day and did not allow a runner to reach third base.

The Patriots had five hits and plated five runs, which was enough for Oxford's pitchers. The Varsity Baseball team moves to 9-2 overall and 4-0 in league as the Warriors move to 1-6 overall and 0-4 in league. Oxford is set to take on the Whitney Wildcats on Friday, April 3rd at Cerritos East Park. First pitch is slated for 3:15.
