The Patriots won big against the Eagles on Tuesday 15-4 who were 3-0 in conference play before traveling to Oxford to play the Patriots. 

The Patriots struck early and often scoring in four of the seven innings. The Patriots went up 8-0 after the first two inning after walks and situational hitting put the Patriots ahead early in the game. The Eagles showed some life in the fourth inning tallying three runs but left the bases loaded and out of a jam. Oxford added six more runs in the fifth inning after CVC added one making the score 15-4, which was the final score of the game. 

Eight of the twelve Oxford Academy players got hits including four RBI from Patrick Zajac and three for three performance from Freshman Daniel Lucak who had two doubles and one homerun to lead a solid lineup of hitters to their second victory in conference play.

The Patriots improve to 7-2 on the season and 2-0 in the Academy League. They will travel to San Juan Sports Complex to play St. Margaret's on Friday, March 27th. The Tartans are 4-7 overall and 1-4 in league play. First pitch is slated for 3:15 PM.
